Mrs. Frank Smothers died at the home of her daughter in Springfield, MO, last week. Mrs. Smothers had gone for a visit. The body was returned to Buford Saturday for burial in the cemetery near Buford, funeral services being conducted by the Rev. W.H. McCuistion.
Mrs. Smothers was well known in her community and was liked by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, J.F. Smothers and several children.
