Funeral services for Miss Rena Jessie Smothers, 49, who died July 3, at her home north of Gassville, were held July 4, at Fairview with the Rev. G.W. Johnson officiating.
Miss Smothers was born at Buford December 27, 1899. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Smothers; three sisters, Mrs. Dale Carver of Long Beach, CA, Mrs. C. Clark of Kansas City, MO, and Mrs. Josephine Thomas of Cotter; two brothers, Howard Smothers of Kansas City, KS and Ray Smothers of Colfax.
