Died Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
Son of Luther & Myram Torrance Lackey.

T.J. Lackey, 54, of Calico Rock died Saturday at the Veteans Administration Hospital in Little rock. A member of the Assembly of God Church, he served 21 years in the US Navy, retiring as a signalman first class.
Born Jan 29, 1927 at Milfay, OK, Mr. Lackey was the son of the former Myram Torrance and the late Luther Lackey. except for his military service, most of his life was spent in this area. He and the former Bernice Moody were married March 21, 1981, at Norfork.
Survivors include his wife of Calico Rock, His mother Myram Inskeep and stepfather D.S. Inskeep, both of Salesville; three stepsons, Dwayne Moody of Mt. Home, Dennis Moody of Yates Center, KS and Kenny Moody of Calico Rock; three stepdaughters, Jackie Lellars of Calico Rock, Elaine Wilson of Melbourne and Debbie Helgerson of Elgin, IL; three sisters, Shirley Moody of Calico Rock, Wanda Parnell of Norfork and Phylis Kuntz of St. Louis, MO; two step-brothers, Dwight and Dale Inskeep, both of Mt. Home; and 12 step-grandchildren.
Services for Mr. Lackey were Tuesday at Galatia Assembly of God with Brother Gale Wooten officiating. Burial was in the Galatia Cemetery under the direction of the Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Randy Webb, Tom Parnell, Victor Claus, Winfred Partee, Floyd Hicks and Eudell Southard. Honorary pallbearers were Kevin Inskeep, Kerry Inskeep, Dennis Inskeep, Danny Inskeep, Steven Moody, Shawn Moody, Delmar Parnell, Ronnie Parnell, Kenny Moody and Dennis Moody.
