Mrs. Oral Lackey, 69, Norfork, a lifetime resident of this area, died at her home last Saturday. She was the widow of the late James Thomas Lackey and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughter, Mrs. Bonnie Felton of Amarillo, TX and Mrs. Annis Walker of Flint, MI; five sons, Darrell Lackey and Danny Lackey, both of Norfork, Orval Lackey of Springfield, MO, Coleman Lackey of Excelsior Springs, MO, and Donald Lackey of Norfork; 28 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at the Norfork Baptist Church by Rev. John Evans of Conway. Interment was in the Norfork Cemetery. The McClure Service was in charge of arrangement.
Mrs. Lackey was born at Wiseman on April 7, 1899, the daughter of Benjamin and Rebecca Langston. She had seven children and was widowed in 1959.
Pallbearers were Clifton Felton, Darrell Lackey, Danny Lackey, Orval Lackey, Coleman Lackey, and Donald Lackey.
