Funeral services for Mr. Donald P. Lackey, age 60 of Jordan will be 2PM Tuesday at the Old Galatia Church. Visitation will be noon-9PM today with the faimly receiving friends 6-8PM at the Roller Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Galatia Cemetery with a Masonic Graveside Service. Mr. Lackey passed away Friday, Jan 10, 2003, at Baxter Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Donald P. Lackey was born Aug 7, 1942, in Harrisburg to James Thomas and Betty Oral Langston Lackey. Mr. Lackey was an iron worker in Kansas City, MO. He was a liftime area resident. Mr. Lackey attended the Galatia Assembly of God Church and was a member of the Adams Masonic Lodge No. 164 in Norfork. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his firends and family.
Mr. Donald P. Lackey is survived by his three daughters, Brenda (Charles)Swindle, Sandra and Carla Lackey of Jordan; his former wife, Wanda Lackey of Jordan; four grandchildren, Jessica and Jorey Swindle, Brittni Gragg and Haley Lackey; special friend, Shirley Freeman of Georgia; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Lackey was preceded in death by his parents and brothers and sisters, Robert, Orval, Danny Darrell, Annis, Bonnie and Coleman.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
