Died August 3, 1986, Mountain Home, Baxter County, Arkansas.
Son of William Henry & Mary Sarah Bell Cunningham Lackey.

Alex Lackey, 82, of Mt. Home died at Leisure Lodge Nursing Home on Aug 2. Mr. Lackey, a retired farmer, was a lifetime resident of this area.
He is survived by two sister Julia Perry of Mt. Home, and Larraine Martin of Calico Rock.
Mr. Lackey was preceded in death by his parents, John and Belle Lackey, four brothers and a sister.
He was born Oct 4, 1903 in Baxter County. He was a member of the Norfork Baptist Church.
Services were held Aug 4 (Monday) at Galatia Cemetery with Rev. Forest Bynum officiating.

(According to two sources; ' The Lackey Line of Northern Arkansas, Their Descendants and Related Families' by Mary Lee Lackey Nelson and 'The Cunningham Family Chronicales' by Roy Dale Cunningham; the father of Alex was not John as quoted in the obituary. John was apparently his grandfather. William Henry and Mary Sarah Bell Cunningham Lackey were his parents according to both above sources and the obituary of his sister Janie Beard.)
