LOCATION: Rice Cemetery is located northwest of Mountain Home. From Midway, AR travel 4.8 miles north on SR 5 to the Three Brothers Cemetery. Across the highway from the southern edge of the Three Brothers Cemetery is a metal gate. Rice cemetery is located 400’ east of the gate in a pasture. The cemetery is located on the James H. Turnbo farm. Originally the land was donated by Abner Deatherage. The cemetery is not visible from the highway.

“Of Grave Importance” The Cemeteries of Baxter County , The Baxter County Historical Society 1994
CONDITION: This cemetery is a combination of old field stones, 36 unmarked, and modern marked stones. Cemetery is fenced and is well maintained.
AGE: Oldest readable stone is 1894. This has to be considered to be active since there is a grave with a temporary marker dated March 2009.
