Karen was born to Heuitt and Ava Nell (Little) Colston on May 21, 1966, in El Dorado, Arkansas. She resided in Huttig, AR most of her adult life. She was well known in the community and a friend to many. She gained her wings at the Stonegate Villa in Crossett, AR on Feb 19, 2019.

She is preceded death by her parents and grandparents. One sister in law. Diane Colston and one nephew Frank Liguori.

Survivors included
One daughter: Tara Preston (Bobby); A special niece: Shaneria Dismuke (Jimmy); Four grandchildren: Alexis, Gabrielle, Skyler and Bryleigh; Eight step-grandchildren; Two brothers: Randall Colston (Mary) and Dennis Colston; Two sisters: Wanda Spells (Gene) and Judy Liguori (Frank), Two aunts: Ann Lacy Mulkey and Betty Posey; One uncle: Harvey Little (Linda); Eight nieces and nephews; Eighteen great nieces and nephews; A special great-grandson: JaCorian Dismuke.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019, at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Huttig, AR.

Burial will follow in the Harper Springs Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR
