Walter Warner Brown, 71, of El Dorado, passed away late Wednesday, December 19, 2018 surrounded by family at his home, after a short battle with dementia.
Born October 7, 1947 in Houston, Texas, he was the son of William Warner and Mary Camille Pollock Brown. He graduated from El Dorado High School in 1965, and attended Oil Belt Technical College. He also served in the United States Navy, and retired as a lineman from Arkansas Power & Light. He enjoyed more than 30 years of involvement with the Union County Farm Bureau, serving as a past president.

Warner is survived by his wife of 28 years, Pamela Whitright Brown; daughters, Jennifer (Chad) Brown of Ashland, OH; Janna (Tommy) Huie of Cookeville, TN; Jodie (Ben) Flynn of Bellville, OH; Jamie (Jim) Stewart of Butler, OH; sons, Robert (Cheryl) Kelley of Conway, AR; John (Sara) Kelley of Fayetteville, AR; 14 grandchildren; a sister, Lynda Salowitz and a brother, John Brown.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joby Brown.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Young's Chapel with Rev. Myron Ford officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
