Bill M. Brown, 85 of El Dorado, passed away Monday, October 3, 2016, peacefully in his sleep at his home. He was born November 3, 1930, to Luther Ryan and Vonceil Jackson Brown in El Dorado, AR.
He was the owner and operator of Brown’s Garden Tractors. He worked hard to provide for his family, and was a jack of all trades. Bill served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being a jokester.

Preceding him in death are his parents; his wife of 62 years, Ellen M. Brown; and children, Sheila Bishop, Sherrie Brown, Stanley Brown, and Scott Brown.

Survivors include his three daughters, Susan Hickman (Bill) of El Dorado, Shellie McDaniel (Ragan ) of Smackover, Stacie Wilson (Ricky) of El Dorado; one son, Steve Brown of Victory, VT; two brothers, Tommy Brown of Mount Holly, John Brown of El Dorado; sister, Francis Rankin of Baton Rouge, LA; twenty grandchildren; and nineteen great grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation services were entrusted to Young’s Funeral Directors.
