Nancy Jane Brown, 92, of Springdale, AR, formerly of Junction City, passed away Monday, March 6, 2017, in Springdale. She was born May 2, 1924, to James Earnest Stevenson, Sr. and Mattie Achsah Leake Stevenson in Junction City, LA.
She worked for KCI in Kansas City, MO as a cashier, and was an Accounting and Home Economics Teacher for six years for the Junction City School District. Nancy earned her Bachelor Degree at Louisiana Tech University and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Junction City.
Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, Neil Hanson Brown; sister, Gladys Leake Gill; and brother, James Earnest Stevenson, Jr.
Survivors include her four children, James Franklin Brown (Martha) of Springdale, AR; Linda Brown of Junction City, AR, William Neil Brown (Nancy) of Woodbury, MN, David Milton Brown of Springdale, AR; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2017, at Roselawn Cemetery, or at the First United Methodist Church in Junction City if it is raining, under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
