Margie J. Knight, 82, of Mt. Home died Thursday, April 208, 2005.
She was born Dec 17, 1922, at Advance to Henry Preston and Anna Sharp Casteel. She married Louis Knight Feb 14, 1943, at Buffalo City. She was a lifetime area native. She co-owned and operated Knight Grocery Store at Colfax, , enjoyed cooking for her family and was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school and was a member of United Methodist Women.
Survivors include five son, Bob (Sue) Knight, Tommy (Brenda) Knight and Neil (Linda)Knight, all of Mt. Home and Lynn (Janice) Knight and Gordon (Beth) Knight, all of Anchorage, AK; two daughters; Beverly Quick of Mt. Home and Betty (John) Luther of Lakewood, CO; a sister, Yvonne Wilbur of Sunnyside, WA; 12 grandchildren, Paul and Greta Luther, Jeff Quick, Heather, Keith (Tammy), Greg (Katie), Matt, Casey, Chris, Haley and Rebecca Knight; and Jamie (Christina) Flippin; three great grandchildren, Aaron Knight, Emily Hirsch and Cotter Flippin; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four brothers, Carl, Amel, Johnny and Pete Casteel; a sister, Namel Adamson; a grandson, Jordan Knight; and a son, Wilford Knight.
Visitation will be noon-9PM today at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends fro 6-8PM.
A funeral will be 10AM Saturday at Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jimmie Snow officiating. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Buford.
Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
