Funeral services for Lee J. Knight, age 85 years, of Flippin, who passed away in a Little Rock hospital Tuesday, April 9, were conducted at 2:00PM Friday, April 12, at Fairview Methodist Church in Baxter County, near Buford, with Doyle Davenport officiating.
Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery by Holt-Burn-(unreadable)Funeral Home of Yellville.
Pallbearers were; Kenneth Jackson, Roy Haney, Louis Knight, Ed Pinkston, Ike Cornell and Lynn Briggs.
Mr. Knight was born at Buford, June 3, 1877, where he grew to manhood and was married to Lennie Lonon, August 26, 1897. For the past approximate 30 years he had resided in Flippin, Marion County, AR, where he considered his home.
He professed faith in Christ at an early age and had been a member of the Buford Church of Christ many years.
He is survived by his wife, Republic, MO; two daughters and three sons, Mrs. John Wood, Vista, CA, Mrs Rex Willis, Sacramento, CA, Sam H. Knight, Peora, IL, Curtis and Beryl Knight, both of Springfield, MO and three grandchildren.
