Mrs. Clarabell Knight, 47, of Mt. Home, widow of Chester Knight, died Monday at a Little Rock hospital. She was a native of Baxter County and a member of the Baptist Church.
Funeral services were scheduled for 1:30PM Wednesday at the Fairview Methodist Church of Buford with Rev. Harold Elmore and Rev. Jim Fowler officiating. Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery, under the direction of the McClure Service.
Pallbearers were Virgil Hurst, Alvin Biggers, Albert Poynter, Hobert Pitchford, Gilbert Pitchford and Noel Peace.
Mrs. Knight was born near Mt. Home on October 6, 1919, the daughter of Walter Pitchford and Lousella Dutton Pitchford.
Survivors include four sons, Arnold, Lynn, Neil and Gordon Knight, all of Mt. Home; her mother, Mrs. Lousella Pitchford of Mt. Home; three brothers, Leo Pitchford of Mt. Home, Bill Pitchford of West Helena, and Don Pitchford of Memphis, TN; two sisters, Mrs. Ed Reeves of Mt. Home and Mrs. J.C. Reeves of Longview, TX. Another son, Wilford Knight, was killed in Vietnam last October 24.
