Chester Marcus Knight, aged 38, a resident of rout 2, Mt. Home, died Monday in a local hospital. Funeral services were conducted yesterday morning in the Fairview Methodist Church, with Rev. Gerald Martin of Cave City and Rev. Oba Ford of Midway officiating.
Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery with Roller Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Knight, a native of this area, was born August 8, 1921, in the Buford community south of Mt. Home. His parents were Marshall and Argie Jordan Knight.
A member of the Methodist Church, Mr. Knight was employed at the Lewis Knight Store in Buford.
Survivors include his wife, Clarabell Pitchford Knight and five sons, Arnold Ray, Chester Wilford, William Lynn, Lester Neil and Gordon Wayne Knight, all of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Knight; four brothers, Lewis, Virgil, Claude and Jimmy; five sisters, Erma Lee McCracken of Gassville, Jessie Flippin of Flippin, Bessie Henderson of San Antonio, TX and Lula Bell Knight and Nancy June Knight of Mt. Home.
