Married Lou Ann Smith on September 16, 1899, at Buford, Arkansas.

Thomas Edward Knight, 82, a lifetime resident of Baxter County and a member of the Methodist Church, died last Thursday morning at his home.
Funeral services were held at 2PM Sunday at the Fairview Methodist Church, with Rev. Robert B. Hoyerton, Rev. Harry Jowett, Rev James Birkhead and Rev. Guy Hopper officiating.
Mr. Knight, a retired farmer, was known as 'Uncle Tom' to his many friends and relatives. His parents were the late Jim and Nancy Knight, pioneer settlers in this county and he was born at Buford on April 27, 1875.
His wife preceded him in death. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. King of Mt. Home; a son, Arthur Knight of Belle, MO; four brothers, Henry and Marshall of Mt. Home, Van of Buford and Arch of Kansas City; six sisters, Mrs. Maude Hopper of Flippin, Mrs. Charles Watts of Boise, ID, Mrs. John Tucker of Mathis, TX, Mrs. Emma Burleson of Gouch, MO and Mrs Anna Tilley and Mrs. Willie Miller both of California; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were J.D. Alley, Jack Hornbuckle, Newt Eubank, Wyth Adams, Albert Walker, I.W. Thomas, Sega Haney, Hester Bliss and Dow Newman.
Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery at Buford. Roller Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
