Mrs. Nancy Belle Knight, 78, of Route 2, Mt. Home, wife of Henry L. Knight, died Wednesday, September 15, at a local hospital.
Funeral services were held at 2PM Friday at the Fairview Methodist Church in Buford with Rev. William M. Womack, pastor of the Mt. Home First Methodist Church officiating.
Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery, under the direction of McClure Service. Pallbearers were Joe Stancil, Lloyd Stancil, Clinton Stancil, Hobert Pitchford, Leo Pitchford and Guy Napier.
A native of Baxter County, Mrs. Knight was born at Buford, January 14, 1887. She was the daughter of the late Harrison Roberts and Della Self Roberts. Mrs. Knight was a life time resident of the Buford community and a member of the Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of the home; three sons, Dale of Pekin, IL, Gale of Peoria, IL and Tillman Knight of Mt. Home; two daughters, Mrs. Norma Covington of Peoria and Mrs. Lavon Schuster of Peoria; 19 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Lois Treat of Tulsa, OK.
