RICE, Ada LINER - Ada Rice, wife of W.C. Rice, died at her home near Brightwater Nov. 30th, 1903. Sister Ada Liner, daughter of F.M. Liner, was born in Tenn. Nov. 7, 1867 and was married to W.C. Rice Dec. 6, 1882. To them God gave 9 children. One preceded her to Heaven, 8 are left with Brother Rice to mourn her great loss. She professed Christ in May 1883 at a meeting conducted at Buttram Chapel by Rev. John Clayton, united at once with the M.E. Church, South and lived a true christian up to the day of her death. On Dec. 1st we laid her to rest at Buttram Chapel by the side of her child and close by Brother Clayton who lead her to Christ. Look up, dear husband and children, your loved one is just a few days ahead. May God's blessings rest upon you. Your pastor, H.A. Armstrong.
