Funeral services for Mr. Earsel Lewis, age 78, will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, June 7, 2013, in the Haynesville United Pentecostal Church, Haynesville, LA, with Rev. Gary Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Jolley Cemetery, Junction City, AR under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Haynesville, LA.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 6, 2013 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Lewis was born on May 17, 1935 to Dovard Marshall and Dessie Ann Cullen Lewis in New Hope, AR and passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 in Homer, LA. He was a member of Haynesville United Pentecostal Church, retired from Fowler Trucking Company after 38 years of service and he enjoyed.hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joyce Ann Jones Lewis; daughter, Linda Lewis Bailey of Haynesville, LA; son, Kenneth Lewis and wife, Lee of Oil City, LA; two granddaughters, Patricia Ann Smith, Lynda Faye Gage; three great-grandchildren, Edward Dwayne Gage, Faith Eilene Gage, Jeremiah Zachary Gage; three brothers, Billy Ray Lewis of Hope, AR, Ruben D. Lewis of Haynesville, LA, James Dovard Lewis of Rock Falls, IL and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Lewis was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Clairice Wright and brother, Marshall Dovard Lewis.
