November 10, 1949 - October 29, 1967
Madison Bradley Lewis, 18, of Strong died Sunday morning at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was born Nov. 10, 1948 in El Dorado and was the son of Mary Elizabeth Bradley and Charles H. Lewis. He was a lifelong resident of Union County and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his parents, of Strong; a brother, Charles H. Lewis, III of Strong; and his maternal grandfather, Arthur Bradley, Sr., of El Dorado. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the First Baptist Church of Strong with the Rev. S. M. Williamson officiating. Burial was in Strong Cemetery under direction of Young's of El Dorado. (El Dorado Times - October 30, 1967)
