Karon Joy Lewis, 65 of El Dorado, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013, at her residence. She was born September 11, 1948, to Gerald and Maycel Wood Davis in El Dorado, AR.
She was a member of Galilee Baptist Church and also attended Ebenezer Baptist Church. Karon was a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and even a great grandmother. She was as a hairdresser for the biggest part of her life.

Preceding her in death are her parents.

Survivors include her loving husband, David Lewis; daughter, Gerah Foster (Billy); son, Marc Lewis (Terry); step-father, T.W. Fitzgerald; five grandchildren, Haleigh Bedwell (Trent), Whitney Foster, Cole Foster all of El Dorado, Nick Cardin (Alison) of Dubach, LA, Miranda Hill (Seth) of Hamburg, AR; four great grandchildren, Landon and Trenleigh Bedwell of El Dorado, Beaux Riley and Harley Paige Cardin all of Dubach, LA; numerous friends and relatives; and a special protector, Scruffy.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, November 23, 2013, at Young’s.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. November 24, 2013, at Young’s Chapel with Rev. Steve Pelz officiating. Burial will follow at Parkers Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors
