Virgil Duane Johnson, age 85, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona passed away Saturday, November 1, 2014. Virgil was born July 11, 1929 in Water Town, South Dakota. He later married Dott Doretha Douthit in Las Vegas, Nevada; they were happily married for 40 years.

Vigil was part of the United States Navy and later worked for General Dynamics for 30 years. In his free time Virgil loved to landscape and work in his garden.

Vigil was a proud and active member of the American Legion, the VFW, as well as, both the Eagles and the Elks club.

He is survived by his wife, Dott Johnson, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; son, Jeffry Johnson, of Arkansas; daughter, Virgi Elaine, of Arkansas; and brother, Darrell Johnson, of Minnesota. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
