ELKINS — Jeanne I. Johnson, 88, of Elkins, Ark., died Friday, Sept. 24, 2010, at Washington Regional Medical Center. She was born Feb. 9, 1922, in Enid, Okla., the daughter of William and Ruth Dandy LaCost.

She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Elkins.

She is survived by three sons, Johney L. Johnson and Charles V. Johnson, both of Elkins, Ark., and Norman L. Johnson of Rogers, Ark.; also five grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010, at Beard's Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, at the First Baptist Church in Elkins, Ark. Burial will follow at McCord Cemetery. The Rev. Rex Griffin will officiate.
