Vinnie L. Johnson, 88, of the Baldwin community died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2002, at her home. She was born Sept. 3, 1914, in Inola, Okla., to Lawrence and Carrie King Ferguson. She was retired from Levi-Straus Co. and was a member of the Baldwin Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 56 years, Mack Johnson, one brother, R.J. Ferguson, two sisters, Wilma Keeney and Liddia Johnson and one niece, Kay Spencer.

Survivors include one sister, Oleeta Durning of Fayetteville, five nephews, Jerry Durning, Terrel Ferguson, Allen Ferguson Randy Ferguson, and Jake Murphy; seven nieces, Thelma Curtis, June Hanson, Marilyn Kilpatrick, Judy Kilpatrick, Linda Parrish, Brenda Phillips and Marsha Marley; one sister-in-law, Oleta Ammons; one brother-in-law, Kenneth Keeney, several great- and great-great-grandnieces and nephews and a multitude of friends.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002, at Baldwin Church of Christ with Bobby Dockery officiating.

Burial will be in Round Mountain Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Beard's Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 610 E. Emma Ave., Springdale, 72764, cr Tract Ministries, Gospel Track International, 4399 Huntsville Road, Fayetteville, 72701.
