S. Harold Duncan, 79, formerly of Winslow, died March 12 at Fort Smith. Born Feb. 20, 1894 at Flat Rock, Ill., the son of John and Eliza Swan Duncan, he was a retired carpenter and contractor, a Methodist and a Mason.
He is survived by four daughters, Miss Alma Duncan of the home; Mrs. Jane Armstrong of Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Irene Hawkins of Tomah, Wis. and Mrs. Sue Rieger of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one step-daughter, Mrs. Shirley Hough of Tulsa, Okla.; two brothers, Glynn of Winslow and Carson of San Diego, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Mary Hutchens, of Corpus Christi, Tex.; 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Moore's Chapel with burial in Brentwood Cemetery.
