Mrs. Mattie Duncan, 89, 132 Pierce St., Springdale, died Jan. 17 in a local nursing home.
Born June 13, 1886, in Drake Town, she was the daughter of William and Mariah Hampton Logue. She was the widow of Noah Duncan and a member of the Robinson Avenue Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Mirl Duncan, Anaheim, Calif., and Earl Duncan, Santa Ana, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Earl Gladys Ritchie and Mrs. Ethel Johnson, Springdale, and Mrs. Marglene Watkins, Claremore, Okla.; one sister, Mrs. Lucy Thomas, Haskell, Okla.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Robinson Avenue Church of Christ. Burial will be in Stuckey Cemetery under direction of Sisco Chapel.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Duncan, 89, 132 Pierce St., Springdale, were held today at 2 p.m. in Robinson Avenue Church of Christ with Jack Gray and Earl Mason officiating. Burial was in Stuckey Cemetery under the direction of Sisco Chapel.
Pallbearers were Reland Spaulding, Ernest Cook, Richard Vanhook, Tom Cowan, Morgan Carson and Lawrence Cate.
