Monday, April 15, 1975
Myrtle L. Austin, 84, of Bentonville, died Monday morning at the Gravette Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 30, 1890 in Carlingville, Ill. She moved to New Mexico as a child and spent most of her life in Colorado before moving to Bentonville in 1940.
She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church of Bentonville.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Walter Berard of Phoenix, Ariz.; a son, Thomas M. Austin of San Rafael, Calif.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at the First United Presbyterian Church in Bentonville. The Rev. Jack Vinson will officiate. Interment will be at the Bentonville Mausoleum.
