Orville Austin, 82, of rural Siloam Springs, died Jan. 13, 1991, at Springdale Memorial Hospital. He was born July 21, 1908, in Gravette to Alfred and Mable Netherton Austin.
He was a retired farmer and had also been a manager in insurance sales. He moved to Siloam Springs in 1952 from Maysville. He was affiliated with Maysville Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Verda Austin, in September 1986.
Survivors include two sons, Dean Austin of Maysville, and Bryant Austin of Decatur, Ill.; one daughter, Verlene Couch of Siloam Springs; one brother, Alden Austin of Rogers; two sisters, Bea McAlister of Gravette, and Velda Davis of Sulphur Springs.; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service are pending, and will be announced by Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
