Opal and Loyd had twin daughters (Carolyn Sue & Vivian Jeanette Walker Cox). They were preemies and the hospital in Fayetteville only had one incubator. They had to choose which baby to put inside and which to try to make it on their own. Thankfully my mom was the baby who got the incubator. My grandfather was handed his baby girl in a box to take home from the hospital and bury.
