SPRINGDALE — Clifton Leon Walker, 68, of Springdale died Sept. 13, 2009, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born May 18, 1941, in Elk City, Okla., to Orus and Ella Mae Walker. Survivors include his wife, Rita Georgia Walker; sons, Clifton Brent Walker of Texas, Douglas Kent Walker of Arkansas, Rodney Layne Walker of Louisiana and Brody Wayne Walker of Arkansas; two sisters; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Services will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Pleasant Street Church of Christ in Springdale. Burial will at Burkshed Cemetery. Visitation will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the church. Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home in Springdale.
Memorials may be made to the building fund at South Hill Street Church of Christ.
