FUNERAL AGED OSAGE MILLS CITIZEN HELD FRIDAY
Funeral services for James M. Walker, aged 81 years and 10 months, and a resident the greater part of his life of the Osage Mills vicinity, southwest of Bentonville, who died at 11 o’clock Thursday morning, April 23rd, 1936, were held at the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, at Osage Mills at 10 o’clock Friday morning, conducted by the Rev. Roy E. Bagley, Methodist minister of Elm Springs. Burial was in the Walker family cemetery.
Mr. Walker was born in Tennessee June 15th, 1851. He had lived in the Osage Mills vicinity for 65 years.
Beside his wife, Mr. Walker is survived by three sons, John Walker living in California, and J.C. Walker and Everett Walker, both of Elm Springs, this county. He also is survived by eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
