Sherman Wilton Ford, 72, of Siloam Springs, died Feb. 13, 1993 at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital.
He was born Sept. 18, 1921, at Siloam Springs to E.W. Ford and Pearl Clemens Ford. He married Lavern Agnew Feb. 6, 1948, at Bentonville. A retired Air Force lieutenant colonel, he was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors are his wife, Lavern Ford; three sons, Jerry Ford of Siloam Springs, John Ford of Garfield and Foy Ford of Gravette; two sisters, Ernestine Barns of Siloam Springs and Edna Mae Carson of Stillwell, Okla.; a brother, Willard Ford of San Antonio, Texas; and four grandchildren.
Funeral is set for 11 a.m. Monday at Backstrom-Pyeatte Chapel in Siloam Springs. Burial is to be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs. Visitation is set for 2-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
