SOUTHWEST CITY, Mo. — Leonard M. Ford, 76, of Southwest City died Nov, 16, 2005, at his home. He was born Sept. 22, 1929, in Delaware County, Okla., to Lester and Jennie Wood Ford. He was a 1950 graduate of Colcord (Okla.) High School. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He worked for Nichols Brothers in Southwest City for 10 years and for Commercial Metals Co. of Dallas for 25 years. He retired from Coburn's Furniture Store in Grove, Okla.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Barbara of the home; one daughter, Tambra Ford of Memphis, Tenn.; one brother, Everett Ford of Stockton, Calif.; one sister, Louise Rusk of Siloam Springs.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Southwest City with the Rev. David Howlett and the Rev. Ray Clinton officiating.

Burial will follow in Gentry Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association of Arkansas, 211 Natural Resources Drive, Little Rock, 72205-9869.
