FORD, Thomas W. - Tom Ford, an old resident of Bentonville, died last Friday night at the home of his son, Dot Ford, in Rogers where he has been spending his declining years. He was eighty-six years of age. The body was brought here for burial Sunday.

Thomas W Ford died Saturday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. F.M. Mackey, on West Walnut street at the advanced age of 87 years. Funeral services were held Sunday morning at ten o'clock at Bentonville and burial was in the cemetery there. Services were conducted by the Rev. Peter Carnahan. The deceased is survived by his wife and by nine children as follows: I.J. Ford, Baxter Springs; Geo. Ford, Anderson, Mo.; C.L. Ford, Webb City, Mo.; Richard Ford, Joplin; D.E. Ford, Rogers; Mrs. J.H. Ricketts, Rogers; Mrs. W.S. Cameron, Keifer, Okla.; Mrs. F.M. Mackey, Rogers and Mrs. William Brashiers of Bentonville.

Mrs. Rachael Ford died at Rogers Tuesday Night. Mrs Rachel E. Ford, aged 83, widow of the late Tom Ford, and for many years a Bentonville resident, died on Tuesday night Dec. 17th, 1935, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. F.O. Mackey at Rogers. Mrs. Ford was born in Tennessee, but had lived much of her life here in Bentonville. She had been a resident of Rogers for the past 25 years. She is survived by three sons, D.E. Ford, Carthage, Mo. C.L. and Richard Ford, Webb City, Mo., and by three daughters,Mrs. F.O. Mackey and Mrs. William Brashear, Rogers, and Mrs. J.H. Ricketts, Bentonville. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Dave Foster of Bentonville. Funeral services were conducted for her Wednesday afternoon at the Bentonville Methodist Church by Rev. Conner Moorehead, pastor of the Central Methodist Church, Rogers, and burial was made in the Bentonville cemetery.
