Carson Eddie Ford, 89, of Colcord, Oklahoma, died April 23, 2013, at the Medical Center of Plano, Texas. Born March 2, 1924, in Row, Oklahoma, he was the son of Clarence Ford and Gertie Woods Ford. He lived all his life in Colcord, and was a cattle farmer and worked for Daisy BB Guns. He married Mary Helen Lewis on September 6, 1988, in Jay, Oklahoma. Carson was a member of Cornerstone Church, in Jay, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Ray Earl Ford, and one brother-in-law.

Survivors include his wife Mary Helen Cannady Ford of the home; one son, Carl Eugene Ford and wife Lois of Plano, Texas; seven step-children; two grandsons; 17 step-grandchildren; two great grandsons; 22 step-great grandchildren; one step great great grandson; one sister, Edra Thompson, of Claremore, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers will be Randy Cannady, Anthony Cannady, Josh Jackson, Clint Ford, Mike Ford, and David Davis.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Cornerstone Church, Jay, Oklahoma, with Sam Andrews and George Fry officiating. Burial will follow at Dickson Cemetery, near Cherokee City, Arkansas. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 26, 2013, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
