FORD, Joseph B. - Died, Jan. 14th, 1905 at his home in Bentonville, Joseph B. Ford in the 40th year of his age. The deceased was born in Benton County, Arkansas May 20th, 1865. His whole life was spent in this and adjoining counties. When about 15 or 16 years of age he professed religion and united with the M.E. Church, South. At the time of his death he was an acceptable member of the M.E. Church. Oct. 15th 1884 he was married by the writer to Miss Lou Jeffries. From this union were born two daughters, both living to cheer and comfort their broken hearted mother in her sad bereavement. The funeral services were conducted by the writer, assisted by Sister Maddox, at the home. Sympathizing friends and neighbors were present to join in the service, thus expressing their kind regard for the deceased and condolence for the sorrowing family. The remains were buried at the cemetery near Wm. Ricketts'. May the all sufficient Grace of God be abundantly bestowed upon this disconsolate home. P. Carnahan.
