Nona Mae Ennis Evans
ROGERS — Nona Mae Ennis Evans, 75, of Rogers died Oct. 13, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers. She was born July 15, 1935, in Gentry, to Henry and Pearl Davis Ennis.
She was a professional licensed cosmetologist.
Survivors include a son, Charles Wayne Evans and wife, Patti, of Alma; three daughters, Deborah Evans and Donna Dorman and husband, Clint, all of Rogers, and Pam Caldwell and husband, Ron, of Summers; two sisters, Virginia McClelland of Gentry and Elsie Davison of Siloam Springs: six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Springtown Cemetery.

Nona Mae Ennis Evans, 75, of Rogers, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on October 13, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center, Rogers, Arkansas. Born July 15, 1935, in Gentry, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Henry Ennis and Pearl Davis Ennis. She received her GED and became a professional licensed cosmetologist. She was the wife of an Assembly of God Minister. She moved from Bixby, Oklahoma to Rogers 27 years ago.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Donald Wayne Evans.
Survivors include one son, Charles Wayne Evans and wife Patti of Alma, Arkansas; three daughters, Deborah Evans of the home, and Donna Dornan and husband Clint of Rogers, Arkansas, and Pam Caldwell and husband Ron of Summers, Arkansas; six grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia McClelland of Gentry, Arkansas and Elsie Davison of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; one brother-in-law, Paul McChristian of Siloam Springs; and one sister-in-law, Frances Hickman and husband Bob of Gentry, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 15, 2010 at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, Arkansas, with Rev. Danny Cheney and Rev. Brian Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Springtown Cemetery, Springtown, Arkansas. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 14, 2010, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Susan G. ROGERS -- The Rev. Donald Evans, 73, of Rogers died Feb. 28, 2005. He was born Oct. 11, 1931, in Gravette to Zeak Wesley and Betha Myrtle Phillips Evans. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War and was a Golden Glove boxer while serving in the Air Force. He was a retired Assemblies of God minister and was pastor of churches in Northwest Arkansas and northeast Oklahoma for more then 43 years. He was a licensed electrician for 44 years. His interests included hunting, fishing and camping.
Survivors include his wife, Nona Ennis Evans of the home, to whom he was married May 5, 1951; one son Charles Evans and wife Patty of Alma; three daughters, Donna Dorman and huband Clint of Rogers, Pam Caldwell and husband Ronnie of Farmington and Deborah Evans of the home; one brother, Orville Evans of Siloam Springs; one sister, Corene Reynolds of Gravette; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at the First Assembly of God in Rogers with the Rev. Kerry Mauldin and the Rev. Josh Scroggins officiating.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale. The family will be present from 6 to 7 p.m.
Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Davidson, Billy Davidson, Johnny Davidson, Billy Reynolds, Gary Tevebaugh, M.D. Alverson, Jeff Miller and Lynn McClellan.
Private burial will be in Springtown Cemetery.
