Charles G. Wood, age 59, of Conway, Arkansas, formerly of Norfork, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2011, at the Conway Human Development Center in Conway.
He was born May 6, 1951, to Garland Leroy and Virginia Pauline Patterson Wood. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors are: two sisters: Nedra (Ted) Arsenault: Toronto, Ontario, Canada and Sandra McPeak: Odessa, Texas; two nephews: Derrick Gray and Chris Randolph; a niece: Lanae Coots; two great-nieces: Jordan and Morgan Gray; a great-nephew: Levi Gray; and three cousins: Levi Woods, Pam Harris Iva Lackovic. He was preceded in death by his parents; two aunts: Fern Edgin and June Woods; and a cousin: Morrell Woods.
Visitation will be from Noon-9:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6-8:00 P.M. A Graveside Service will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Burnt Schoolhouse Cemetery at Lone Rock with Life Tribute Celebrant Frank Daniels officiating. Memorials may be made to Hospice Home Care, Inc., 821 North Creek Drive #A, Conway, Arkansas 72032.
