Died September 24, 1969, Mountain Home, Baxter County, Arkansas.
Son of John and Clara Davenport Wood.
Married Opal Pearl Burchett on March 3, 1929.

Funeral services for Earl T. Wood, 62, of Flippin, a disabled timber worker, were conducted Friday at the Galatia Methodist Church, near Norfork, with Rev. Johnie Hale of Mt. Home officiating.
Mr. Wood, a native of Baxter County, died at a Mt. Home hospital on Wednesday of last week.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Opal Wood of Mt. Home; four sons, Johnny of San Antonio, TX, Clyde E. and Leon of Wichita, KS and Harold Wood of Flippin; three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Leiniger of Mt. Home, Mrs. Elva Smith of Willow Springs, MO and Mrs. Virginia Frueham of Clear, AK; a brother, Paul Wood of Doughlas, WY; a sister, Mrs. Goldie Perry of Mt. Home; and 21 grandchildren.
The son of the late John Wood and Clara Davenport Wood, Mr. Wood was born and reared in this county. Most of his adult life was spent in Missouri, and he had lived in Marion County for seven years. He was married to the former Opal Burtchett on March 3, 1929.
Interment was in the Galatia Cemetery, under the direction of the McClure Service.
