Jimmie Vaughn Wood, seven-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Granville E. Wood, died at the family home in Big Flat, Saturday. Death was caused by a heart aliment. Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister, Betty; four borthers, William, Jack, Guy and Glenn, all of the home except William who is stationed in Hawaii with the US Navy.
Funeral services were held at the Burnt School House near Lone Rock with the Rev Ollie Butterfield officiating, followed by burial there. The Adams Funeral Home of Cotter was in charge of arrangements.
