Paul Allen Wood, 61, of the Old Joe community near Norfork died Tuesday of last week at the Calico Rock Medical Center.
A native of Marion County, Mr. Wood was born July 3, 1911, the son of the late John Wood and Calra Davenport Wood. He was formerly employed as a ranch worker in Wyoming, and was married to the former Susie Roberts who preceded him in death.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Goldie Perry and stepbrother, Raymond Curry, both of Norfork; many nieces and nepthews.
The funeral service was conducted Friday at the Galatia Methodist Church, near Norfork with Rev. Paul Hill of Norfork officiating. Interment was in the Galatia Cemetery under the direction of the Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Kermit Wilson, Virgil Perry, Lee Skidmore, Fred Finley, Ralph Parnell and Bill Bradbury.
