BLAND, Marvin - We regret to learn of the death by tyhpoid fever of Marvin, the 3-year-old son of our friend, Clark Bland of Larue P.O., which occurred in August. We extend our sympathy to the parents who are doubly bereaved as during the Fair at Rogers last Friday another of their sons, aged 13 years, led his team into a lot in which were some loose horses to water them when one of the horses kicked him inflicting injuries from which he died Saturday. His remains were laid to rest Sunday in the Bland burying ground beside the younger brother who had been laid to rest scarce three weeks before. The hand of affliction seems to rest heavily upon Mr. Bland and his wife and many hearts go out to them.
