Rogers -- Floyd Bland, 65, died Friday in the Rogers hospital after an extended illness. He was born Feb. 14, 1900 in Benton county the son of Albert E. Lee and Martha Baker Bland and was a former justice of the peace of Walnut Township East of Rogers. He was a member of the Methodist Church and the Pea Ridge Masonic Lodge.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Minnie Martin Bland of the home; two sons, Edgar P. of Fayetteville and Glenn of Siloam Springs; one sister, Mrs. Audie Marrs of Pleasant Hill, Mo.; three brothers, Arthur of LaRue and H.E. and Stanley of Rogers and eight grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Burns Funeral Chapel. Burial in the Bland Cemetery.
