WILLIAMS, William Henry - (from Prairie Creek) W.H. Williams passed away at his home one mile west of Glade, Ark. Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 26th. He has been in bad health for some time, unable to work since the first of July. Funeral services were held at the Henson cemetery Thursday afternoon and were conducted by Rev. George Williams and Rev. Clark Bland. Mr. Williams came to Benton county about forty years ago, making his home on Prairie Creek for some time. William Henry Williams was born in Wabash county, Illinois Jan. 15, 1872 and died on Sept. 26th, 1928 at the age of 56 years, eight months and eleven days. In 1904 he was married to Miss Lizzie Morrison. To this union were born eight children. He leaves a wife, six children, two sisters, one brother, three half-brothers and many relatives and friends to mourn his death. Mr. Williams was a member of the Methodist church in which he had lived a righteous and upright life until the Death Angel came to claim his own. He had been a member of the Masonic lodge at Garfield for some time. The body was tenderly laid to rest by the Masons to await the great resurrection morn.
