Myrtle Bell Williams, 88, of Surphur Springs died Monday at the Gravette Medical Center. She was born May 15, 1888 in Tenn.

She was a member of the Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband Alva of the home; four sons, Henry Williams and Alvin Williams, both of Portland, Ore., Bill Williams of Gravette and Hickey Williams of Watchin, Wash.; three daughters, Ester Unphenor of Elma, Wash., Lela Gevins of Gravette and Neda Heng of Retfill, Wash.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Baptist Church at Sulphur Springs with Rev. Melvin Coffelt officiating. Burial will be in Butler Creek Cemetery under the direction of Callison-McKinney Funeral Home of Gravette.
