Trafton DeVoight Williams, 71, of Chattanooga, Tenn., died Friday, Oct 30, at Chattanooga.
He was born Nov. 26, 1920, at Little Rock to Otis Williams and Gladys Dallas Williams. He served as a minister for 21 years for the Church of Nazarene. He was an assistant to the Commissioner of Mental Health, Tennessee, and a professor at Trevecca Nazarene College, Nashville, Tenn. His brother, Otis E. Williams Jr., died in 1985.
Survivors are his wife, Thressa Felts Williams; a son, Ronald Williams of Chattanooga; and three grandchildren.
Funeral is set for 9:30 a.m. Monday at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, with R.T. Williams officiating. Burial is to be in Oak Hill Cemetery under direction of Wasson Funeral Home.
