December 5, 1888 - May 13, 1967
Rich Williams died Saturday at his home on Quaker Street following a lengthy illness. Born in the Mt. Zion Community near Urbana, he was brought to El Dorado in his infancy. Several years ago he joined New Bethel Baptist Church. On October 26, 1912 he married Miss Rachel Anderson. To this union four children were born. His survivors include his widow, Mrs. Rachel Williams; two sons, John Henry Williams and Nathaniel Williams both of El Dorado; and two daughters, Mrs. Lottie Mae Watson and Miss Lula Williams both of San Francisco, Calif. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church, Rev. J. F. Kelley officiating. Burial will be in Lott Burgy Cemetery under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home.
