Magnolia - Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Higgins Williams, 49, of Rt. 2, who died Tuesday in an El Dorado hospital, were held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Marysville Methodist Church. The Rev. Charles Northcutt and the Rev. Myron Pierce will officiate. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home. Pallbearers were James Steward, H. M. Warren, Jr., Harold Kennedy, Marcus Higgins, Larry Higgins and David Pickett. Mrs. Williams was a native of Columbia County. Survivors include her husband, R. M. Williams; a daughter, Mrs. Patsy Stevens, Jonesboro, La., a son, Roy M. Williams, Magnolia; her mother, Mrs. J. F. Caswell, Taylor; four sisters, Mrs. Maurice Pickett and Mrs. Earnestine Pickett, both of Taylor, Mrs. Martha Sue Bearden and Mrs. Mary Lou Clark, both of Lewisville; three brothers, Chester Higgins and William Higgins, both of Taylor, and Elmer Butler, Louisiana; and one grandchild.
