Miss Millie Williams, 56, of 820 Union St., died Sunday in a local hospital following a brief illness. Born in Claiborne Parish, La, she was the daughter of Bunk and Susie Jones Williams. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Anna Carmichael, Fordyce, and Mrs. Lizzie Jones, Chicago, Ill. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in First Baptist Church at Grove Streets, with the Rev. E. A. Porchia officiating. Burial will follow in Lott Burgy Cemetery under the direction of Sims Mortuary. The body will be taken to the church at 12:30 p.m. (El Dorado Times - March 17, 1971)
