A Graveside Service for Bertha "Betty" A. King of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, with Reverend Kenneth Taglauer officiating.

Betty King passed away September 25, 2014, in Yorkville, Illinois, at the age of 90. She was born January 22, 1924, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Herman and Amanda Trarback Roge. She married Robert King on December 12, 1944, at Downers Grove, Illinois. Betty lived in Mountain Home since moving from Lisle, Illinois, in 1978. She recently moved to Yorkville, Illinois, to live with her daughter and son-in-law, Lana and Glenn Fiala. She was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Betty is survived by her two sons, James (Sue) King of Warrenville, IL and John (Roxianne) King of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Lana (Glenn) Fiala of Yorkville, IL; seven grandchildren, Jessie (John) Hutchinson, Devon King, Eric (Kristine) Fiala, Heather (Keith) De Voe, David (Radka) Fiala, Cary King and Jordan King; six great-grandchildren, Abigail, Cameron, Mikayla, Vasek, Emma Fiala and Alexandria Naleway and sister, Evelyn (Robert) Kakuska of Bend, OR.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Robert Paul King; grandson, Casey King: two brothers, Paul Roge and William Roge and three sisters, Elza Schultz, Martha Rott and Lilly Engfer.

Memorials may be made to Autism Speaks or Baxter Day Center.

Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
